PHOTO PROMPT © David Stewart

“A lighted path is a wonderful help.”

“Yes, but can you trust it, teacher?”

“If you mean it’s too easy I understand your fear but, the light shows what’s ahead. It does not take trust to walk where you can see.”

“Is there such a thing for life?”

“What does right look like for your life?”

“When I face a fork in the road, one way is right and one way is easy.”

“Right is not easy?”

“It never is.”

“But if easy is not right, then it is a dark road of peril, while right is a lighted path.”

    Dear Clare,

Right isn’t always easy to follow, nor is it easy to discern. Thoughtful piece. Nicely done.

    Shalom,

Gosh, it’s too early in the morning for philosophy! But I think you’re right, the easy path may not be easy after all

It’s funny how different eyes focus on different things! Thanks for reminding of that!

The title kind of colors how it’s perceived!

When I read “When I face a fork in the road…” my tired, still-needs-coffee brain read it as ” fork in the face.” Yikes.

I like how you used the lighted path (which did stand out in the photo) to then explore right paths, easy oaths, and how light can symbolize guidance and direction. Gets us thinking….

Thank you! There was a lot to work with in the photo but the lights caught my attention first.
