Behold the Beauty

Do You See It?

It was one of their first evenings in the new apartment.

“You can always find beauty wherever you are on planet earth,” Hal said all philosophical like.

“Yes, the sunset is gorgeous,” Tina said. “That shade of pink-orange and the subtle peach…”

Hal chuckled.

“That’s not what I’m talking about.”

“The bridge? Yes, the suspension bridge a marvel of science.”

“Uh, no. Wrong again.”

Tina tried to stay quiet but didn’t she know him well enough to get it right?

“The river, how it flows?”

“No silly,” he said touching her on the cheek. “It’s your reflection in the window.”
