This love is a double-edged sword.

No matter how I move with it,

injury will ensue,

and all wounds are fatal,

something will die.

Life will bleed away,

from a dream,

a hope,

a foundation,

built on sand.

But still I hold on.

Because today,

This moment,

I am unwilling to let go,

Poised for the pain,

That will surely be mine.
