I knew the moment I woke up,

Today would be a vapor of a day,

As neutral as tepid water,

A blank slate, that will not fill.

No highs.

No lows,

Just breathing and

Mindless work,

Rote actions,

Time passing.

The day lived up to my premonition.

Should I complain about such a day?

Only if tomorrow is the same!
