Woke up early this morning, before the sun rose early, why? Not to get to the airport for a flight to a dream vacation. I am dreaming about a vacation but I’m not sure there’s a place right now in the US where the weather is dreamy!

I woke up because I drifted out of sleep and my brain started crafting a novel that I thought up a day ago. Has that ever happened to you? It’s like the idea of the story is taking over my mind.

Well, it did. Because I’ve already crafted chapter one, completed rough character sketches and basic world building.

I’m super excited about this one. I’m already loving my characters and they were just born an hour ago.

I’ll share a quick overview but not too much because as a newborn, I’m kind of protective.

It’s an alien romance, no, no, no, just kidding. It does involve aliens and there will be romance, can’t escape that but human to human.

The working title is “Humans in a Cage”. Great, isn’t it?

Basic premise, aliens are looking for a cure for a deadly disease. They’re sampling species across the galaxy. The story is about a ‘pod’ of humans overseen by a young alien who needs to make a name for himself.
