You’ll want to read it before Book 2 comes out because the two books are very much connected though also very different.
Book Two- “Keeping Home” is a dual timeline story. Tyler’s string of troubles continues (as does most people’s), but he doesn’t tackle solutions to those problems the same way and he get some help from the past…past generations that is. Inter-twined with Tyler’s present story, is the storyline of the occupants of the house in the 1920’s. That’s Tennessee in the bootlegging days. But no, it’s not a gangster, shoot-out story, though there are definitely some of both. It still leans toward the drama and romance side of some very interesting characters.
